LDCwood® stands as the sole producer of ThermoWood® in the Benelux region. Operating from our Ostend facility, we aim to provide a sustainable alternative to tropical hardwood through our 100% natural ThermoWood®. Our facility boasts six state-of-the-art production kilns, which utilize in-wood sensors to ensure the thermal modification process yields high-quality results. Our thermal production processes rank among the best in Europe. We distribute our ThermoWood® products globally through a network of European and international partners.

ThermoWood® is a registered trademark of the International ThermoWood® Association (ITWA). Established in 2000, the ITWA now includes 16 members across eight countries. Only ITWA members are legally authorized to use the ThermoWood® trademark for thermally modified wood.The ITWA logo guarantees that the wood has been modified according to approved procedures for the right application and is regarded as an official seal of quality.

Thanks to its multi-faceted and complementary divisions in processing, preservation and fire retardant treatment of various wood species, we can offer a comprehensive range of solutions with ThermoWood®.

Our production site is located in Ostend, Belgium. At our facility we have six Jartek ThermoWood kilns, several planing and wood processing machines, vacuum wrapping and a complete tooling room for made to order patterns and products.
