100% natural fire-retarder

Fire-retardant ThermoWood^® offers new possibilities to architects in project development. The ThermoWood^® pine from LDCwood for Maison de repos Sacré Coeur was treated by Lemahieu Fire Protection^® with fire-retardant to achieve reaction to fire classification B-s1,d0. The fire-retardant Burnblock^®, which was used to impregnate the timber under pressure, is 100% natural and biodegradable and has Gold-level Cradle to Cradleᵀᴹ Certification.

Wood cladding adds a beautiful natural touch to the "Maison de repos Sacré Coeur" building, but to meet the appropriate fire reaction class, Lemahieu Group provided the fire retardant treatment (Thermo-Grenen by LDCwood, B-s1,d0). The product is 100% natural and biodegradable.
